I've worked nearly 20 years in psychiatry in many roles and contexts.

I've created and supervised activity programs for memory care facilities, and for the past 17 years have worked continually in psychiatric inpatient care, serving as a patient support specialist, a registered nurse, and currently as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Harborview Medical Center's psychiatric emergency department (PES). Occasionally, I also teach graduate level courses in psychopharmacology.

This is the experience I bring into my private practice. In our work together, I listen "care-fully" to your experience to determine an individualized medication management plan based in the latest psychiatric and psychopharmacological research available. As an avid reader I work to stay abreast of developments and keep my medical mind sharp.

In my practice I work with adults 18 - 70 years old. I treat a variety of psychiatric concerns and diagnoses including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, attention disorders, post-traumatic stress, and thought disorders such as OCD and psychotic disorders.
